An associated member of our SFB 1270 ELAINE, Jacob Thönes, is at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Clinics (DHMC) in the Halter Lab from February 1 to March 29, 2025. The Halter Lab aims to advance research in medical imaging technologies and systems designed to monitor, diagnose, and treat diseases. Ethan Murphy, Assistant Professor at Dartmouth Engineering, hosts Jacobs's research stay.
Jacob will focus intensively on Electrical Impedance Tomography, Electrical Impedance Spectroscopy, and Deep Brain Stimulation during his research stay. The main focus of his work will be on impedance tomography measurements. He will gain valuable hands-on experience in applying these technologies at DHMC.
